Energy/Water Conservation

Water conservation in New Mexico can positively
affect the flow of the Rio Grande

Much of the electricity in Albuquerque comes from a coal-fired electrical generating plant. Reducing your use can cut down on the amount of electricity that needs to be manufactured and the amount of coal needed to run the plant.

Holistic Habitats, Inc. (HHI) will design your building to be energy efficient using the most up-to-date research and technologies. With advance planning your new structure can provide energy and monetary savings throughout its lifetime. Water conservation systems will be built right into your building's infrastructure. By using methods of rain harvesting, gray water/black water recycling, water storage, water reducing technologies and needs assessment, HHI will bring your water use to a more efficient and effective balance with nature. These applications can be just as effective in conventional building as in green building. HHI can design features for any building to be more energy efficient and water conservative.
